今天去了約翰連儂遭射殺的寓所門前憑弔,該寓所名叫“Dakota Apartment”很容易找到,地址位于5th Avenue 及72 Street交界。這幢大廈是上城區西角的豪宅又是著名觀光點,因此大宅門前守衛森嚴,觀光客只能在大廈的入口處逛逛。之後走過5th Avenue的馬路進入中央公園,在不遠處可見到刻有“Imagine”一字的圓形記念碑,碑上放了一支木結他、照片、記念文字、小熊毛公仔,旁邊圍著白色玫瑰花及點上了白蠟燭,可見約翰連儂的歌迷們沒有停止對他的追悼。雖然我不是Beatles/John Lennon迷,但卻很喜歡 Imagine這首歌曲, 此曲的歌詞實在寫得非常好,勾勒了一個烏托邦的情景:當中沒有戰爭,無分種族,沒有饑餓……Imagine there's no Heaven
